There are numerous cultural and historical sights in the Dobrinj Region, and region's settlements are recognizable by the rich and valuable folk art: stone architecture, folk music, dance, traditions and costumes, numerous churches and stone buildings, Glagolitic monuments and scripts (evidence of a long history and preserved cultural heritage).

Highlights:

The ancient city of Dobrinj, the center of the municipality bearing the same name, built on what used to be a strategically important 200m high plateau, still attracts with its small town distinctiveness and numerous cultural and historical monuments, which is also why people call it the ‘Museum City'. It was first mentioned in 1100, in a document by Slavni Dragoslav, as a secular and religious center with a judge, a notary and a parish priest. St Stephen's Parish Church was first mentioned in 1100 as well. Church annexes were built in 1510. The board with reliefs from the main altar, part of the national cultural heritage, dates from that period as well. The church got its present architectural form with a porch ( cergan ) in 1602, whereas in the 18 th century it became a three-nave building. In 1903 the wooden altars were replaced by marble ones and the sacristy and the pulpit were built.

Dobrinj permanently hosts a religious and an ethnographic collection, as well as a collection of fossils of the island of Krk. The Infeld Gallery and St. Anthony's Gallery ( Sv. Anton ) are also located in Dobrinj.

The religious artifacts have been stored in churches, chapels and sacristies. Only recently were they stored all together in one place.

In 1981 a ‘Museum of Church Artifacts' was unofficially opened. The ‘Religious Museum' was officially opened in 1996.

One of the highlights of the Religious Collection is the First Book ( Prva knjiga ) of the Dobrinj religious center that includes a copy of the Deed of Gift by Slavni Dragoslav , written in the Glagolitic alphabet, the antependium by Paolo Veneziano from the 14 th century, various Glagolitic manuscripts, breviaries, oldest registries in Croatia from 1560, and other.

The Ethnographic Collection (established in mid-20th century) includes over 1200 authentic household, agricultural, farmers', fishermen's and other handy crafts, tools, souvenirs and other objects of folk craft and art from the ancient times until today. The fact that it is the greatest collection of such kind on the island of Krk and one of the greatest ones in Croatia by the number of exhibits makes the Dobrinj Native Collection more special.

The Infeld Gallery is owned by one of the greatest art collectors in the world, Mr. Peter Infeld from Vienna. It is located in the center of Dobrinj, in a 400 sq m large building decorated in an authentic Dobrinj style, hosting exhibitions by renowned artists that are scheduled years in advance.

St. Anthony's Gallery ( Sv. Anton ) is located within the church bearing the same name (St. Anthony's Church). In consultation with the Diocese and in cooperation with Mr. Infeld, the church space was readapted to be able to host art exhibitions by famous home and international artists.

The village of Sveti Vid (St. Vitus) has a church bearing the same name - a rare example of an old Christian, early Romanesque, preserved and renovated building from 1100.

A range of other valuable monuments are found within our churches and in settlements such as Klimno, Kras, Gabonjin, Gostinjac, Sužan, Soline, Polje, etc.
